Rehearsal Times of the Choral Ensembles (mandatory attendance all semester)
Concert Choir: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 1:00-1:50 + Thursday: 3:30-4:20
University Chorus: Tuesday and Thursday: 3:30-4:45
Camerata: Tuesday and Thursday: 2:00-2:50
All of our Eastern Illinois University Choral Ensembles (Concert Choir, University Chorus, and Camerata) are classes offered through the School of Music for which you will earn a grade. All of the choirs are graded based on attendance and positive contribution. In order to earn a good grade, every choral student is expected to attend every rehearsal and perform on every concert while giving their best. We are serious, fun-loving musicians who thrive on making our choral community stronger through artistry, craft, friendship, and excellent music! – Dr. Eckdahl
